RESOURCE MOBILIZATION

• Refers to all activities involved in securing new and additional resources for the Catholic Diocese of Eldoret.
• It also involves making better use of, and maximizing existing resources.

Why it is important

• Ensure of combination of Catholic Diocese of Eldoret's service provision
• Support Catholic Diocese of Eldoret sustainability
• Allows for improvements and transparency of resources at our disposal
• Healthy relationship with donors/ partners
• Encourages trust between the Catholic Diocese of Eldoret and other stakeholders
• Create a systematic way of raising resources

Resource Mobilization Mandate 

• Advice on resource mobilization strategy that includes securing new, diverse and additional resource to Catholic Diocese of Eldoret.
• Conduct research on potential donors/ partners and individual and advice accordingly.
• Organize resource mobilization events for Catholic Diocese of Eldoret
• Develop a resource mobilization manual that includes standard operating procedures that can be used by Catholic Diocese of Eldoret and propose it to the Bishop.
• Study, approve and recommend to Bishop projects for the Diocese based on the priorities of the Diocese.
• Create a Catholic professional group.
