The department serves as the catechetical mission of the Diocese by assisting and enabling pastoral agents for ministry as well as supporting constant faith formation programmes within parishes, schools and at diocesan level. Kobujoi Catechetical Training Centre is an institution owned by the Diocese and was established in the year 2022 for the formation of catechists. It is headed by the Catechetical coordinator.
