The main focus of the Youth Department is to reach out to all the youth in the planned activities, both in parishes, high schools and colleges/ universities. It also addresses the social, spiritual and the economic growth of all the young people in the Diocese in line with the new Diocesan strategic plan. It has five movements: Youth in Parishes (YIP), Young Christian Students (YCS), Catholic Students’ Association (CSA) for higher learning institutions, Catholic Agricultural Rural Youth Movement (CARYM), and Catholic Young Adults (CYA). It is headed by a Youth Coordinator and support staff.
